Summary:The article presents the results of three-dimensional numerical simulation of a photonic crystal resonator with tree-like resonant elements. The frequency spectrum was studied and the main electrodynamic parameters of resonators were determined in the range up to 32 GHz. The effect of the photonic-crystal grating pitch on the frequency spectrum of the resonator has been studied. The investigated resonator can be used in klystron-type multi-beam devices operating as amplifiers, oscillators, and frequency multipliers in the X-, Ku-, and K-bands.
