Summary:Energy is a source of power for economic and social development and the material basis for human survival. In recent years, rapid economic development has contributed to the continuous growth of energy consumption in China. However, the massive consumption of energy has seriously affected energy sustainability and the living environment. At the same time, international emissions commitments and energy security issues have prompted China to prioritise energy consumption management. The range of issues arising from energy consumption has become a major concern for the country. The Internet of Energy business, with its ability to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emission levels, has become a major focus of investment in recent years. In this paper, 11 indicators were first selected from four dimensions: economic value, social value, environmental value and strategic value. Then, the weights of each indicator were determined by the AHP-entropy weighting method. Finally, the TOPSIS method was used to evaluate the value of energy internet business investment.
