Summary:In previous studies, the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and wireless charging vehicles (WCVs) have been considered together to recharge sensors in wireless rechargeable sensor networks (WRSNs) such that the total sleep time of sensors is minimized. However, the construction cost that is the total cost of the UAVs and WCVs is a major requirement for the users but not considered in previous studies. Therefore, when the limited construction cost is considered, our problem is to find a scheduling algorithm to use both of UAVs and WCVs to minimize the total sleep time of sensors. In this paper, a heuristic algorithm is proposed, and the simulation is conducted to show its performance.
