Investigation of by-Products of G3 in Quasi-Uniform Field Under AC Power Discharge

G 3 is a promising dielectric gas which consists of C4F7N and CO 2 . It shows great potential to replace SF 6 in electric system due to its low GWP and comparable dielectric strength to SF6. 145kV GIS 1 and the 420kV GIL using g3 as insulating gas has been put into use in England.
