Summary:The study presented in the article is aimed at developing automatic methods to identify different stages of night sleep in humans. Proposed information system is based on using of time-frequency analysis of polysomnographic data in post-processing mode. The preliminary analysis of data set presents a sufficiently high degree of accuracy and reliability when compared with the results of the evaluation of the professional medical somnologist. This approach to the analysis of polysomnographic signals can be considered as an additional study, for example, with apnoe control, and serve as an independent objective marker for assessing the risks of sleep structure's impairments.
