Summary:The interaction between the power and the gas system not only exists in energy flow but also in transactions flow. At present, there have been preliminary explorations in the research of the combined power and gas market. However, researchers make reasonable assumptions about the gas system and ignored actual constraints of the gas system, such as the nomination, which is an important part of the gas system dispatch process. Therefore, to research the influence of the nomination on clearing results, a power-gas joint market model considering nomination constraints of Gas-Fired units (GFUs) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the joint market framework is introduced, in which the power and the gas system are operated by one system operator. Based on the framework, the quadratically constrained programming problems (QCP) are constructed to solve the proposed market model. Finally, different cases are constructed to find out the influence of the nomination constraints, and the influence of the gas nomination constraints on dispatching and price is analyzed.
