Numerical Analysis of High-Brightness Tapered Ridge-Waveguide Lasers
In this work, we present a simulation-based analysis of a CW driven tapered ridge-waveguide laser having a high lateral brightness of 5W · mm −1 mrad −1 at 2.5 W optical output power.
