NOMA-D: Date Setup for NOMA Couple in Random Access for 802.11 Networks

Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) is a promising technique proposed for the 5G network. This paper presents a power allocation algorithm to encourage NOMA transmission with a couple of high-power and low-power users within the 802.11 networks. Summary:Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) is a promising technique proposed for the 5G network. This paper presents a power allocation algorithm to encourage NOMA transmission with a couple of high-power and low-power users within the 802.11 networks. The saturation throughput of our proposed NOMA-Date (NOMA-D) algorithm can be more than 20% higher than that of the legacy 802.11 system for most cases.
