Summary:With the continuous development of radar, higher and higher demands are placed on the antenna. The traditional single-band antenna can obtain limited information, and the use of dual-band antenna can expand the dimension of target information acquisition, and more effectively classify and identify various targets. Therefore, in this paper, the Ka/X double-segment phased array antenna is researched, and a phased array antenna that can work in the Ka and X frequency bands is designed by HFSS simulation. The Ka and X frequency bands are combined in the form of a layered microstrip antenna. The designed dual-band antenna has a large bandwidth of 6GHz in the Ka frequency band, the gain reaches 29dB, and the standing wave is less than 2. It can achieve ±25 degree scanning function, and has good electrical properties. The designed dual-band antenna has a bandwidth of 700MHz in the X-band, the gain reaches 18dB, and the standing wave of less than 2. It can achieve ±30 degree scanning function and has good electrical performance. The Ka/X double-segment phased array antenna design has laid a foundation for the Ka/X double-segmented phased array antenna research, which has important practical significance.
