Summary:The previous decade has seen significant advances in Electric Vehicle (EV) innovations, driven basically by new improvements in numerous frameworks, be it charging systems, control systems, or battery management systems. Now, EV innovation has arrived at the stage by where practically all vehicle manufacturers are occupied with significant innovative work projects related to EV's. Effective charging of an EV is a challenge that has been addressed in the paper by amalgamating the constant current and constant voltage (CC/CV) charging techniques to expand the charging productivity. This has been modelled using Simulink and its results have been analyzed. Furthermore, the current G2V and V2G infrastructures have also been modelled which works by leveraging the inactivity of vehicles by trading the energy between the vehicle and grid.
