Summary:This paper constructs the local financing platform model, and finds that the local government can improve the local total output by promoting the development of the financing platform. The empirical results also show that the financing platform model can improve the GDP. However, as far as debt risk are concerned, the development of financing platform increases the debt risk of local government. PPP mode is beneficial to alleviate the debt risk of local government. PPP mode is more sustainable in China.
