Summary:In this paper, we propose a design method for a rectifier circuit that can be charged rapidly, focusing on the optimum load resistance value of the rectifier circuit and a load fluctuation of storage capacitor. First, we designed the rectifiers in the following three cases: the optimum load resistance value of the rectifier circuit is smaller than, equal to, or larger than the resistance value connected to the later stage of the storage capacitor. Next, using the rectifier circuits, we performed charging experiments to the storage capacitor. The results showed that the charge time could be shortened by designed the optimum load resistance value of the rectifier circuit to be lower than the resistance value connected to the later stage of the storage capacitor.
