Summary:Because of their piezoelectric properties lead zirconate titanate (PZT) fibres are used in several electronic applications. Such fibres can be produced by extrusion. Therefore the extrusion behaviour of highly loaded thermoplastic feedstocks (PZT‐polymer compound) has been investigated depending on the surfactant concentration and the powder preparation method. After sintering butterfly curves were measured for single fibres.
