Sub-50 fs pulses from frequency comb generated by cascaded four-wave mixing in highly-nonlinear fiber

Phase measurements of a laser source based on generation of frequency comb in highly-nonlinear fiber were performed via line-by-line pulse shaping. Design optimization and compression of second order distortion allowed generation of sub-50 fs pulses.
