High-Power DBR-Free Membrane Semiconductor Disk Lasers
We compare the performance of DBR-free membrane semiconductor disk lasers (SDLs) with single and dual SiC intracavity heatspreaders. A record output power of 16.1 W is achieved and a fluorescence-based temperature characterization technique is demonstrated.
