Modeling and Identification of CO2 Uptakes of Multi-Cells in Crassulacean Acid Metabolism Using Momentum Optimization Method

In this paper, we propose the model of the sum of the {C}{O}_{2} uptakes of a Crassulacean Acid Metabolism (CAM) plant as a linear combination of delayed oscillation waves of cells using the minimal CAM model proposed by Blasius. Next, we formulate the parameter estimation problem of delayed oscilla...

Summary:In this paper, we propose the model of the sum of the {C}{O}_{2} uptakes of a Crassulacean Acid Metabolism (CAM) plant as a linear combination of delayed oscillation waves of cells using the minimal CAM model proposed by Blasius. Next, we formulate the parameter estimation problem of delayed oscillation waves of cells in view of real-time optimization. We present a momentum method in the gradient descent algorithm by adding the adaptive differential filter and apply the proposed method to estimate delay sequences of the CO 2 uptake. Finally, we perform the simulation via MATLAB/Simulink to verify the proposed method.
