Summary:Manganese sulfide with a lack of manganese cations in the lattice is being studied. Samples that are single-phase and have a cubic structure have been certified. The impedance components were measured over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures without a magnetic field and in a magnetic field. The real and imaginary parts of the impedance as a function of temperature are described in the Debye model. The relaxation time of current carriers is found from the impedance hodograph. The change in impedance components in a magnetic field is described in a model of an inhomogeneous electrical medium.
