Co(II) and Cu(II) coordination polymers: application values on anesthesia during orthopedic surgery by reducing the acetylcholine content

In the present study, via using the mixed ligand synthesis approach, two new transition metal coordination polymers (CPs) [Co 3 (4-bmbpd) 2 (1,4-BDC) 3 ] (1) and [Cu(4-bmbpd)(4,4′-OBA)]·H 2 O (2) (4-bmbpd = N,N′-bis(4-methylenepyridin-4-yl)-1,4-benzenedicarboxamide, 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid (1,4...

Summary:In the present study, via using the mixed ligand synthesis approach, two new transition metal coordination polymers (CPs) [Co 3 (4-bmbpd) 2 (1,4-BDC) 3 ] (1) and [Cu(4-bmbpd)(4,4′-OBA)]·H 2 O (2) (4-bmbpd = N,N′-bis(4-methylenepyridin-4-yl)-1,4-benzenedicarboxamide, 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid (1,4-H 2 BDC), 4,4′-oxybisbenzoic acid (4,4′-H 2 OBA)) have been synthesized with corresponding metal ions and the 4-bmbpd ligand in the presence of auxiliary polycarboxylate ligands under hydrothermal conditions. Their application values on the anesthesia during orthopedic surgery was evaluated and the related mechanism was explored at the same time. Firstly, the content of the acetylcholine in the synaptic cleft was measured with ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) detection assay. In addition to this, the blood pressure was determined and the adverse reactions after the CPs injection were assessed.
