Summary:This manuscript provides a general review of the contemporary literature on e-commerce logistics. The review is carried out systematically on the articles published in academic journals from 2015 up to 2018. A total of 77 manuscripts were reviewed and analyzed using this method regarding the journals, level of analysis, and scientific methods used. Moreover, coding of the findings of the papers was carried out to identify the research themes in contemporary e-commerce logistics literature. As a result, six themes were identified; namely, Distribution, Channel Design, Sustainability, Performance, Pricing, and Innovation. The results show a shift of scholarly focus over the past years.
