Summary:The topic of this paper is to report on the migration process of a remote laboratory setup based on remote panels in LabVIEW to an HTML5-based webpage. The original remote laboratory have been running for several years, and was originally developed using NI LabVIEW for user interaction and NI hardware for data acquisition. To provide the user with access to the experiment over internet, remote Panels was utilized through the users' web browser. There was no change needed or done in the hardware configuration during the conversion, and the acquisition hardware from the original setup is kept in the new setup. A survey is completed by the users to report on the satisfaction and ease of use of the original software setup compared to the new.
