Summary:Ultra wideband microwave imaging has been recently used as tool for breast cancer detection. The breast was represented as flat or semispherical or cylindrical model in previous researches. This paper studies the effect of including chest wall in breast model on tumor detection. Prony's method is applied on the scattered field from malignant breast to calculate complex natural resonance which are function of breast structure, tumor shape, and its electrical properties. Poles of malignant breast for two different chest wall models are compared with the one with no chest wall.
