Summary:A hybrid parallel CPU/GPU implementation of the higher-order Method of Moments (MoM) based on Message Passing Interface (MPI) is presented to solve electromagnetic scattering problem. An out-of-core technique is employed to break the limitation of GPU memory. To further improve the performance of the hybrid parallel implementation, an overlap technique is adopted in this paper. Numerical result demonstrates a speedup of about two times over the parallel CPU implementation.
