Summary:Event-triggered control has the advantages of improving the communication and control efficiencies in many real applications compared with the widely adopted time triggered control. Recently, it has received considerable research attention due to their irreplaceable advantage in resource-constrained systems. In this paper, we aim to survey some advances on the event-triggered control schemes (ETC) in networked control systems from the viewpoint of the model of ETC, the co-design of controller and communication scheme based on different ETC. Moreover the distributed event-triggered control is also introduced in this paper. Finally, some possible future research directions are pointed out.
