Summary:We present an overall framework of dynamic visual navigation for subject knowledge according to learners' interests, preferences and cognition in certain domain knowledge. The system architecture includes the construction of learning resources, construction of subject domain knowledge based on domain ontology, construction of subject knowledge base based upon domain ontology, construction of the learner model, dynamic visualization of subject knowledge base, dynamic visual navigation guided by domain knowledge ontology, system deployment, and empirical research. The main objective of this research was to solve problems of cognition load and disorientation, to help learners to reconstruct, memorize, and utilize knowledge.
