Summary: | A digital microwave point-to-point radio platform has been developed for the frequency range of 13-38 GHz. The most important design requirement was to obtain a radio, which is suitable for high volume manufacturing. This goal was successfully met first, by employing an electromechanical structure, which is easy and fast to assemble, secondly, by using an architecture, which allows a short and simple testing process after assembly, and thirdly, by employing novel circuit designs with a highly integrated microwave module. |
