Summary:Most traffic accidents are caused by improper use of seat belts, resulting in unnecessary shocks during traffic accidents and causing casualties to passengers. Although some vehicles are equipped with seat belt alarms, they are also different from those currently sold on the market due to habitual problems. The safety pin is directly placed on the switch of the original seat belt, so that the alarm cannot be activated correctly. The components of the ultrasonic measurement system are easy to obtain, cheap, and easy to complete. However, only ultrasonic waves are used to measure the distance between objects and targets on the market. Based on the above concept, the purpose of this research is to conduct application research through the Arduino development board and microphone module, by combining the ultrasonic measurement with the seat belt on the car driver's seat and the weight sensor on the car driver's seat (Detect whether there is a driver) to detect whether the passengers in the car are correctly fastened their seat belts. Use the principle of ultrasonic to detect, detect the distance between the seat belt and the steering wheel (set the limit distance range), when the receiver receives a signal lower than the set distance (avoid using the seat belt behind the body), it will force the driver not to start; on the contrary, when the received distance exceeds the set distance, the driver can operate the vehicle normally, and if the ultrasonic signal is interrupted during driving, it will make a buzzing sound through the car horn and remind Drivers pay attention to the importance of safety to further reduce casualties.
