Summary: | The investment and construction of energy storage power station supporting renewable energy stations will bring various economic benefits to the safe and reliable operation of the new power system. Capacity benefits are the fundamental guarantee for maintaining the balance between power supply and demand. However, the capacity benefits of energy storage power station supporting renewable energy stations have not been fully recognized and compensated at this stage, resulting in unsatisfactory profitability of power stations and poor enthusiasm for investment and construction. Based on the concept of production and operation simulation, a capacity benefit evaluation method for energy storage power station supporting renewable energy stations is proposed; a joint optimal operation model of energy storage power station supporting renewable energy stations and wind, light, water, fire, and other types of power sources is established; based on the operational data of a local power system, The capacity benefits of energy storage power station supporting renewable energy stations in terms of reducing the installed capacity of thermal power plants and reducing new energy curtailment are analyzed. |
