Summary: | The defects in the design, crimping and installation of tensioning wire clips and the harsh operating environment may cause problems such as corrosion, heating or breakage of wire clips, which directly threaten the safe operation of high voltage (HV) transmission lines. Based on consecutive occurrence of two 500 kv transmission line conductor with fracture failure strain clamp drainage heel as the research object, through macroscopic examination, microstructure examination and X-ray digital imaging inspection, chemical composition, fracture reason connection structure and operation environment analysis, proposed uses the hoe type strain clamp and the flexible TJ interval with damping spring stick, At the same time, it is of great engineering significance to take corresponding preventive measures in the operation and maintenance stage to prevent similar accidents. |
