Stability of the Extended WCS-FDTD Method Including the Lumped Resistor

The stability of the extended weakly conditionally stable finite-difference time-domain (WCS-FDTD) technique is studied when lump element is incorporated. Only lumped resistor under semi-implicit scheme is analyzed here. According to von Neumann technique, stability of the extended WCS-FDTD method i...

Summary:The stability of the extended weakly conditionally stable finite-difference time-domain (WCS-FDTD) technique is studied when lump element is incorporated. Only lumped resistor under semi-implicit scheme is analyzed here. According to von Neumann technique, stability of the extended WCS-FDTD method is analyzed theoretically. Furthermore, a numerical example is used to verify the numerical analysis.
