Summary:In this work, the sliding mode control (SMC) problem is investigated for uncertain switched systems subject to the channel fading. Here, the Lth-order Rice fading model is adopted to describe the phenomenon of channel fading, where the channel coefficients are mutually independent random variables. A key issue of this work is how to guarantee the mean-square exponentially stability of the closed-loop switched systems. To this end, a suitable sliding mode controller is designed. By employing Lyapunov function and average dwell time, some sufficient conditions are established such that the reachability with a sliding domain around the pre-specified sliding surface is achieved, meanwhile, the exponential stability of the resultant closed-loop switched systems is guaranteed.
