Summary:One of the main aims of the wind energy conversion systems (WECSs) is to obtain the maximum power point and maintained it constant in the design limits range with wind speed fluctuations. Different traditional control methods have been implemented to attain this objective. The robust auto-tuning AF-PI controller is capable of controlling the complex nonlinear systems, which the disturbances have a significant influence on the control capability and efficiency. This paper offers a robust fuzzy-proportional-integral (AF -PI) control strategy which features auto-tuning property of current control for doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG). The suggested AF -PI controller is robust and effective under various operating conditions and parameters changing due to an adaptive feature. The performance of the suggested adaptive AF-PI controller is validated utilizing MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. simulation tests have performed for verifying the dynamic performance of the suggested control methodology. the simulation results clarify that the suggested AF-PI controller having a perfect dynamic and steady-state performance, in addition to it is robust with system parameters fluctuations.
