Summary:In order to further study the mechanical properties of the impact dummy ribs and understand the relationship between the displacement and mechanical response of the impact dummy ribs. This paper first analyzes the structure of the chest ribs of the impact dummy, and systematically expounds the installation mode and components of the ribs. Then the mechanical properties of the metal and damping materials of the ribs are analyzed. At the same time, the static compression calibration method of the ribs is designed based on the installation methods of the ribs, and the static compression mechanical properties of the single rib assembly are studied. The results show that: with the increase of tensile rate, the plastic deformation stress increases, the damping material increases with the compression rate, the stress increases gradually; for six ribs at the same compression rate, the first rib changes with the increase of compression displacement, the pressure changes the largest, the third rib changes with the increase of compression displacement and the pressure change The minimum; For the same rib, the compression rate increases and the pressure increases gradually.
