Summary:This paper presents the performance of the dc-dc converter with non-idealistic in active and passive components for the electric vehicle (EV) battery charging applications. The duty cycle expression is developed by analyzing the effect of non-idealistic on the converter for reducing the associated converter loss. The effect of inductor and capacitor series resistance is analyzed in detail to identifying their effects on the current and voltage ripple of the converter. Later, the analysis is validated by using MATL AB/ Simulation results.
