Summary:Ubiquitous Healthcare Environment is a natural object oriented paradigm which deals with different kinds of Man, Machine and Systems. This service oriented pervasive environment dictates the need for effective management of various subsystems namely patient profile, doctor's profile and other clinical and non-clinical activities. New care models have been defined based on intelligent context aware services among different stakeholders such as health operators, patient relatives and social community members. Voluminous and precise nature of data is a real challenge and needs optimal solution for effective storage, retrieval and query schemes. Integration of all the sub systems and various time bound services at different levels and priority makes the system more complex and needs the attention. In this paper, we describe an Object Oriented Database (OODB) model for context aware services in distributed pervasive healthcare environment for providing intelligent healthcare services to the society.
