Summary:In military and commercial applications, locating radio frequency transmitters accurately includes global positioning, locating hostile radar systems precisely and finding the location of beacon which is sending emergency signals. Many geo location methods use Arrival Time Difference (ATD) and Arrival Frequency Difference (AFD) between two collectors which collects the signal from transmitters' dissimilarity in two Doppler's is same indicates that AFD is same among collectors, the ATD can be found using simple cross correlation computations. The AFD has cardinal value which prevents the use of cross correlation techniques when there is movement of transmitters with respect to collectors. To achieve Cross Ambiguity Function (CAF) parameter, an ATD and AFD must be calculated collaboratively. We adapted advanced computations approach to find out CAF efficiently. Using advanced computations, the modified CAF mapping is projected and also shown geo location of the beacon emitting signals can be done by using CAF mapping method. Analysis results discussion is provided to verify simulation.
