Monolithic Piezoelectric Control of Integrated Soliton Microcombs

We demonstrate piezoelectric actuators integrated on ultralow-loss Si 3 N 4 waveguides with MHz bandwidth, ultra-low power, bi-polar. The voltage applied on the actuator is used to tune the microresonator, initiate, switch, stabilize, tightly phase lock soliton microcombs. © 2020 The Author(s)
