Summary:Since the advent of the first prototypes of power transformers with an amorphous core, of particular interest has been the prototyping and calculation of models of power transformers with the possibility of studying the influence of various factors on the properties of the finished product. However, an attempt to use HTSC windings in power transformers led not only to a significant improvement in the electrophysical properties of such transformers, but also to a significant complication of the modeling process of such a transformer, due to the appearance of additional external factors, such as a change in the electrical properties of the HTSC conductor depending on the nature of the load and operating modes of such a transformer. Based on this, the article highlights the methods of accounting for such effects during the construction of a mathematical model of a power transformer with HTSC windings.
