Summary:We present an ice hockey player tracking and identification system based on the videos acquired from multiple camera system. The proposed system reduces tracking errors by global tracking with multi-camera video and player identification using SVM (support vector machine). In the test experiments, the proposed system could achieve the performance of average tracking speed of 16 fps with four cameras, and the average recognition rate as 98.8 %.
