Summary:This paper aims to present Transelectrica's concept of augmented reality, based on a series of technical specifications adapted to the digitization requirements of the Company and highlighting the benefits of implementing this technology. Through this study, there will be identified the work processes within the operation and maintenance activities that are subject to the risk of human errors due to the lack of clear and effective training, or the assistance of an expert. The proposed solution is to implement the concept of augmented reality on equipments installed in transmission substations. A demo version will be presented, which can then be replicated in other pilot projects of the Company.
