Summary: | In this paper, antenna selection algorithms of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system are considered. Firstly, we analyze the existing antenna selection algorithms and the corresponding channel capacity formula. Secondly, in order to investigate the optimal performance of MIMO channel, we propose a new algorithm based on the maximum norm selection theory and matrix theory. Then we deduce the corresponding channel capacity. Finally, we design a simulation scheme to verify the performance of the new algorithm under different numbers of antennas selected. The simulation results show that with the increase of the number of antennas selected, the channel capacity increases gradually, but the growth rate slows down. Assume the scenario with five antennas, choosing three antennas is the best scheme in consideration of highest cost performance. |
