Summary:Stereo camera can measure the distance to the object using parallax information between left and right images. In order to obtain parallax information, it is necessary to correlate feature points between left and right images. However, there are many problems with mapping. In this paper, we proposes an algorithm carrying out matching using AKAZE features. The feature points of the image are extracted using the AKAZE features, and matching is performed. Some constraints ared used in the matching to improve accuracy. Distance measurement was performed from the coordinates of feature points obtained to get correspondence between left and right images on the AKAZE features.
