Plasmonic Hot Carriers and Their Applications
Under optical illumination, plasmonic nanostructures become efficient generators of energetic (hot) carriers. We discuss nanoscale structures that support surface plasmons and exploit hot carriers for optoelectronic and catalysis applications.
