Summary: | A novel wide stopband bandpass filter implemented with lumped capacitor-based coupling structure is presented in this paper. Lumped-capacitors, instead of traditional parallel-coupled lines, are employed to provide the desired coupling strength between the resonance elements. And certain coupling regions are replaced by coupling points. For verification, an experimental bandpass filter operating at 1.62 GHz with 2nd and 3rd harmonics suppression is demonstrated. The measured results exhibit good agreement with the full-wave simulation results, validating the proposed design approach. |
