The Spatial Coherence Function of Crossly Polarized EM-waves Caused by Depolarization in Continuous Random Medium

Recently we obtained an analytic expression of the spatial coherence function of crossly polarized waves on the assumption of successively forward scattering by using a perturbation method. However, the expression was unsuitable for carrying out the quantitative analysis. This paper presents the spa...

Summary:Recently we obtained an analytic expression of the spatial coherence function of crossly polarized waves on the assumption of successively forward scattering by using a perturbation method. However, the expression was unsuitable for carrying out the quantitative analysis. This paper presents the spatial coherence function expressed in a compact form applicable to the analysis and describes the effectiveness of the coherence function from physical and mathematical points of view.
