Summary: | This paper presents the experimental results of enhanced Zero-Forcing (ZF) channel equalizer and Least-Squares (LS) channel estimator by adding a single amplitude-restoration stage. The simulation results for the proposed experiment show a performance enhancement of up to 0.5 dB in the case of the LS channel estimator and 2 dB for the ZF channel equalizer over an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel and a performance enhancement of up to 2 dB in the case of the LS channel estimator and 6.5 dB for the ZF channel equalizer over Rician multipath channel without a significant increase in computational complexity. |
