Summary:In most conventional radar-based remote heart rate measurements, the subject is stationary and there is a single target. When remote heart rate estimation is performed for multiple targets, they are located in different range bins. Therefore, this paper proposes a new remote heart rate estimation method when multiple targets are in same range with 3D MIMO radar. The proposed method estimates the same-range targets' locations and chest positions, and using point cloud detects the heart rates of with 3D beam steering. Experimental results show that the targets' signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) were improved, and average errors of the heart beats are about 0.065 Hz (3.9 BPM).
