Investigation on the performance of a 20 GHz electro-optic probing scheme using balanced heterodyne detection

We investigate the performance of our electro-optic probing system against the local oscillator frequency. We find that the performance is optimal for a restricted set of frequencies. We also demonstrate its proper operation at 20 GHz.
