Summary:A numerical method for modeling radiation characteristics of antenna systems enclosed in a cone-sphere dielectric radome is considered. The method proposed the optimal thickness of a radome wall profile in order to decrease radiation signal losses caused by a radome. The computational results show that the maximum losses for the radome considered can be halved, if to choose the radome wall thickness to be non-uniform instead of constant.
