Summary:Gradient type algorithms for the recursive identification of Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) systems represented by orthonormal bases whose outputs are subject to binary-valued quantization and observed after transmission through lossy memoryless channels with uncertainties, are presented in this paper. The consistency of the estimates as well as the convergence of the algorithms are analyzed. The performance of the proposed algorithms is illustrated through simulation examples.
