Summary:In order to meet the requirement for wide range speed regulation in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control, the flux-weakening control strategy based on the method of voltage limit circle gradient descent is proposed. Firstly, the principle of flux-weakening control is introduced in the paper, on the basis of this, the flux-weakening area has been determined according to the voltage-limit ellipse and current-limit ellipse. In the flux-weakening area, the current correction value is calculated by the flux-weakening field and voltage error. Simulation results show that the strategy can expand the speed range of PMSM, and the feasibility of this method is explained.
